Natural leather is made from animal skin tanning. High resistance, high strength, durability, and longevity are the characteristics of natural leather.
In terms of strength, natural leather is divided into three categories:
light (made from the skin of animals such as sheep, goat and goat),
semi-heavy (made from the skin of animals such as ostrich, crocodile) and
heavy (made from the skin of animals such as cow, calf and camel).
Types of leather in terms of nature and source
full_grain leather: it is the best, thickest and highest quality type of leather, which has the highest level of quality. And it is the result of removing hair and other extra substances
top_grain leather: It is the same as full_grain, except that a thin layer of full_grain leather is removed and a smooth surface is created.
nubuck leather: a type of top_grain leather that has been sanded on the outer part so that some of its protein fibers sleep and create a velvety surface
split leather: It is obtained by separating the back layer of leather and treating it with chemicals and dyes, and its quality is far lower than the first two types.
bonded leather: the lowest quality type of leather that is obtained by gluing leather particles and pieces together and combining with polyurethane or latex
